This Privacy Policy describes how Obzena LLC ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Question AI Homework Helper mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Anonymous authentication identifiers generated by Firebase Authentication. We do not require your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the App.
Usage Data: Daily question counts and usage statistics to enforce usage limits and improve our service.
Subscription Information: If you subscribe to a premium plan, payment and subscription data is managed by Apple through In-App Purchases and RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store your payment details.
Camera Data: When you use the App to photograph a question, the image is processed as described in Section 2 below.

2. How We Process Your Questions

Important: When you capture a photo of a question, the image is sent directly to the OpenAI API for analysis and solution generation. We do not store, save, or retain your images or question content on our servers. The image is transmitted solely for the purpose of generating a solution and is not kept after processing is complete.

OpenAI processes the image in accordance with their own privacy policy and data usage terms. We encourage you to review OpenAI's Privacy Policy for more information on how they handle data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (solving homework questions).
Track daily usage to enforce free and premium usage limits.
Manage your subscription status.
Improve, personalize, and optimize the App experience.
Monitor and prevent abuse of the service.

4. Data Storage and Security

We use Firebase (by Google) for authentication and data storage. Your usage data is stored securely in Google Cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

Firebase security rules to restrict data access.
Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
Anonymous authentication to minimize personal data collection.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud storage, analytics, and remote configuration.
OpenAI: AI-powered question analysis and solution generation.
RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management.
Apple: In-App Purchase processing and App Store services.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed as an educational tool and may be used by students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our anonymous authentication system ensures that no personally identifiable information is required to use the App.

7. Data Retention

We retain your anonymous usage data for as long as your account exists. Question images are never stored — they are sent to OpenAI for processing and discarded immediately. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Opt out of any non-essential data collection.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
